Applications of a Computer 

Today computers have become a part and parcel of our life. You can see application of a computer almost everywhere.

Some common uses of  a computer applications are as follows:-

 

1. Computer application in business
• Help in a business activity such as billing accounting etc.
• Example Computers are used to make bills in shops 
2. Computers at Home
• Used extensively at home- both laptops as well as desktops
• Helps us do variety of tasks - online shopping banking playing games and studying
3. Computer Applications in Accounting
• Used in most small and big business houses
• Used for Accounting and Maintaining records by using special softwares like Tally
4. Computer Applications for Customers interactions
• Extensively used for customer care centres 
• Handle activities such as answering customers queries offering assistance and keeping records

• Provide wide range of communication technology
• Distances no longer exist
• Example Email Chat Web Conferencing etc.
